Braun Free Control 1775 Men's Shaver

Are we talking about the same shaver here? The long and short of it is that it simply does NOT shave. I'm not talking about closeness (i.e. it shaves but not closely). I'm talking about 1/4" whiskers all over the face.

Best feature is the tap water clean up. You can still brush clean if you wish but, why bother when water wash is faster, complete, and no mess.

Am a blade man during the week, but on weekends I go electric! Have used older Norelcos and Brauns in the past, none has ever provided as close a shave as this beauty! For the price, I don't think you can go wrong!

This razor shaves smooth and doesn't grab. I tried a Norelco rotary before this and it seemed to tear the hairs out, this Braun is very comfortable with no burn or irritation.
The built in trimmer is nice and wide and easy to deploy with one hand.
Battery life is awesome. I only need to charge about once a month and recharge only takes about an hour.
This is better than Norelcos and Remingtons I've tried that cost 2-3 times as much.

Takes a long time to shave. If you miss a day, it will take at least 5 minutes. This is my 5th electric razor and it is by far the slowest shave I've ever had. Conventional razor is quicker. And it misses a lot of hairs. Spend a few extra dollars and get a better one.
